The role
Reporting to the L&D Lead, the L&D Specialist is responsible for the execution of learning initiatives across our customer-facing “Funnel” teams (Sales, Operations and Collections, Recoveries & Litigation). You will be transforming technical requirements into engaging learning experiences that ensure business-wide compliance and foster professional growth.
- Develop a blended online and in-person onboarding strategy that equips new Circlers with essential skills and connects them to our culture and mission
- Take ownership of the Funnel Onboarding program. You will design and develop the classroom curriculum, digital e-learning modules, and performance support tools, utilising modern and effective training methodologies
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to transform complex policies and information into engaging, accessible content, ensuring mandatory learning is meaningful for all participants
- Work closely with Funnel Leaders and Sales Enablement, securing their alignment and support to deliver a high-impact learning experience
- Proactively problem solving, identifying and confidently mitigating any risks, issues or control weaknesses that arise in your day-to-day
What we’re looking for
- Minimum of 2 years of L&D or relevant HR experience
- Prior experience in designing and/or delivering engaging learning content for both face-to-face and digital platforms
- A naturally compelling communication style that keeps learners motivated, whether in a room of 5 or 50
- An understanding of the nuances of the "First 90 Days" and experience delivering induction programmes that make a lasting impact
- The ability to ask the right questions to get to the root of a performance gap, ensuring we deliver the right solution at the right time
- Confidence to quickly grasp complex concepts, products, and internal processes and have the ability to simplify that knowledge for others
- Experience working within a Financial Services or regulated background would be beneficial
- Prior experience delivering training for Sales or Operations teams would also be useful
At Funding Circle we are committed to building diverse teams so please apply even if your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with the requirements.
